Wine Circle Event in the Pulverturm

IMCZ is proud to announce it's fourth Wine Circle Event which will fittingly be held in the Pulver Tower in the Zug Old Town, on Friday 24th November 2025, from 18:30 till 23:00.

By popular demand this session will be dedicated to worldwide Red Wine. 

Our traditional and unique format will be maintained, building on the success of previous editions: Each guest is kindly requested to bring one or more bottles of a 'favourite' wine. They will present their wine to the plenum and explain their special attachment to it. This can be a wine that has quality, variety, emotional or locational significance for them.  Then we will all taste and enjoy these wines together. After tasting each guest will rate the wines they have sampled.

Our President Peter Aschmann and Club Somelier Peter Lichtensteiger will compère/moderate the event and engage each presenter of wine in a dialogue, while as many participants as possible taste their wine.

Colonia Italiano adjacent to the tower will  provide an Apero platter, courtesy of IMCZ, and a menu of pizza and pasta dishes ordered at the discretion and cost of guests. 

Members of ZIWC, friends and family (over 18) are all welcome to attend. Just make sure you bring your own wine to share generously and be prepared to tell us something about it and why you are in love with it.
