Wine Circle Event - Friday 15/11 (n.b replaces the Thursday Stammtisch of 14/11) Registration is open!

IMCZ is proud to announce it's third Wine Circle Event which will fittingly be held in the Pulver Tower in the Zug Old Town, on Friday 15th November 2024, from 18:30 till 23:00.

By popular demand this session will be dedicated to worldwide Red Wine. 

Our traditional and unique format will be maintained, building on the success of previous editions: Each guest is kindly requested to bring one or more bottles of a 'favourite' wine. They will present their wine to the plenum and explain their special attachment to it. This can be a wine that has quality, variety, emotional or locational significance for them.  Then we will all taste and enjoy these wines together. After tasting each guest will rate the wines they have sampled.

Kristin Eisenberg, SOC and Richard Beswick MOC will compère/moderate the event and engage each presenter of wine in a dialogue, while as many participants as possible taste their wine. Given that we may be as many as 40 participants it would be great if everyone brings several bottles to everyone to try their wine in the dégustation.  A dump bucket will be on hand to ditch the undrinkable:)

Colonia Italiano adjacent to the tower will  provide an Apero platter, courtesy of IMCZ, and a menu of pizza and pasta dishes orderd at the discretion and cost of guests.  

Please register for this event so that we can plan the event to scale. Members of ZIWC, friends and family (over 18) are all welcome to attend. Just make sure you bring your own wine to share generously and be prepared to tell us something about it and why you are in love with it.
