Breaking News: 

The IMCZ trip to EST2023 has moved from Saturday, August 12 at 15.30 to SUNDAY 13 at 12.30. There is a Parade on Saturday and Sunday. Since nobody else has signed up for the event yet,  I have moved the event to Sunday for my convenience. Of course, the parade on Saturday 16.00 is still an option for anyone who prefers to go on Saturday.

Those of you whose hearing survived the shrill tones of yodelling and enjoyed a truly Swiss cultural experience at the Confederate Jodelerfest, may like to try another iconic Swiss cultural event that comes to the area but once in several decades: EST2023: Scheller und Trychlertreffen ( no direct English translation: roughly giant cow bells and musical whips). The festival takes place in Menzingen, Zug canton’s highland town on 11-13 August. IMCZ is sending a delegation to watch the grand parade at 13.00 on Sunday, August 13^th. Provisional meeting point at 12.30 opposite the Menzingen Kloster.
