Exhibit on Shipping in Kanton Zug

Shipping in Switzerland has developed over centuries from a means of transportation to a tourist attraction.  To celebrate the 100th birthday of the MS Schwan, which sunk in 2013 but has since been resurrected, Heinz Amstad has organized a small exhibit on the history of shipping in Kanton Zug in the public archive of Zug in the Verwaltungszentrum 1, Aabachstrase 5 in Zug.  The exhibit includes models of ships which have plied the waters of the two lakes of Zug.  If you understand German, you can attend the last public tour on Nov. 4th.
