ZIWC BNG Meeting: "Starting your own business in Switzerland"

Our sister club, the Zug International Women's Club (ZIWC) invites us (and our partners) to join their Business Networking Group (BNG) for a workshop on starting your own business in Switzerland. The main subject of the workshop will be to present you with legal and formal requirements concerning starting an own business in Switzerland. • different forms of companies (sole proprietorship, LLC, JSC) • immigration laws (which Permit is needed to do what) • social security (how much and for what on needs to pay) and • basics of taxation (book keeping; tax due by companies , tax due by shareholders income v. dividends) The workshop is dedicated to people with an international background who want to start their business and also to people who started already and might have questions as to how to continue in a more formal way. Speaker: Katharina Lasota Heller, klh@lexcellence.swiss Katharina is an international legal and compliance professional with over 20 years of experience. After finishing law school Katharina wrote her doctorate as a scholar of Max-Planck-Institute in Munich and did postgraduate studies in Sacramento. She also finished a short E-Commerce Course for Executives at Harvard University. Her work is mainly focused on representation of international clients interested in doing business in Switzerland and on provision of advice related to employment and immigration laws to expats in Switzerland. She is enthusiastic about new technologies, data protection and shared economy.
