ZIWC BNG Meeting: How technology is transforming small businesses

Our sister club, the Zug International Women's Club (ZIWC), invites us (and our partners) to join their Business Networking Group (BNG) for a presentation by Matthias Ernst.  The presentation will be held on Wednesday, June 12th, in the attic ("Dachraum") of the Zug Public Library from 18:40 - 20:30.

Topic: "How technology is transforming small businesses"
We will look at cases where technology is helping small businesses to become more profitable and productive and the latest technology trends.

Matthias Ernst was born in Germany and has masters degrees in marketing and human resources. He steadily climbed the corporate ladder, first at a Swedish-American retail tech company, and then at an American-Swiss Fortune 500 company and world market leader in security technology. During his corporate time, he served as VP European Operations with more than 2,000 staff and $500m in sales. As an expat, he and his family were at home in seven countries.

Two years after he moved to Switzerland, he decided to leave the corporate world and started a digital marketing business from scratch. Five years later, Instore Solutions, based here in Zug, is a leading player in digitalizing the retail and brand experience, with companies such as Swisscom, Google, Microsoft and L’Oréal trusting its expertise and software solutions.

Matthias will share some exciting insights into the importance of embracing digital solutions and processes early.
