- July - September 2023: This quarter we have a packed issue. There's the usual summary of past and future events, an article on the Lohri tour by Sarika Sukhatankar of the ZIWC, an excellent article by Remo on "Golden Rice", Richard's article on AI and mental health, one from me on the latest on the search for dark matter and energy and an excellent and amusing article from Joe on the perils of summer skiing. There's also the result from the poll organised by Richard on the future of the club - and, of course, a humour section. Getting the newsletter out this quarter was a challenge because of the very tight time window between getting all the articles and Ron (our graphics designer) going on holiday. As a result, there are a couple of typos which will be corrected when he's back. My apologies for that. My thanks to all contributors. Much appreciated.
- April - June 2023: In this Newsletter the various excellent events we ran are reviewed - good times. Also, note the advert for the forthcoming "Disco Nights" event. Then there's articles by Remo on the risk of hot beverages, myself on autonomous cars, Richard on Generative AI and Christian's investment commentary. There's also a ski-season wrap from Joe and the usual Humour section. We also had a contribution from Matthias Herren of Heart2Heart and this is on page 4. My thanks, as always, to all contributors and to Ron for the layout.
- January – March 2023: In this Newsletter there is an extensive summary of events we ran at the end of 2022 with an extended report by Roger on the visit to Competec, an excellent article on Creatine by Remo, my perspective on Truth and Lies in science, a true short story by Wayne, Christian’s investment commentary and Joe’s Winter Sports Show summary. There’s also the usual Humour section, worse than usual as is the holiday tradition. My thanks to all contributors.
